One of the interesting things about the building used by The Balti House is that the arched window on the first floor is where John Wesley preached from on his fourth and last visit to Baildon. The brass plaque to the right of the window (as looking at the front) commemorates this fact. This is mentioned in the Village Walk Heritage Trail booklet.
