This website was initially an out of the box installation of the Joomla Content Management System, There are other functions that the organisors have identified as being required for a fully functioning site. They are:-

• A Discussion Forum
• A Local weather outlook
• An Events calendar
• A photo gallery

This website is under the umbrella of the Baildon Community Council and is provided as a useful resource for the residents of, and visitors, to Baildon.

It will contain current news items that might have an impact on Baildon.

It can also be used by groups and communities of Baildon to let their members, ot the general public, know about their activities.

By effective use of web technology the intention is that it provides an easily used resource for people to find contacts, businesses, representatives etc. that can be useful.

As with all sites like this, it is impossible for me, the Web Master, to check the validity, grammar and spelling of all articles on the site. The beauty of the internet is that is gives anyone who spots an error an easy way to report such things.
