Schools In Bloom

This year Baildon In Bloom Committee has worked with all four of the Baildon primary schools.

At Baildon Church of England Primary, we have:

  • Held a class on how to plant and look after a hanging basket
  • Donated the hanging baskets for the school to use
  • Held a poster competition, which was completed by the two Reception classes, Rec I and Rec W

At Glenaire Primary, we have:

  • Included Glenaire's own photographs in our portfolio for the judges to see 
  • Visited the school to see how 'Glenaire Gardeners' works, what is happening on the new school allotment, the new planters, trees and planting, the 'Glenaire Gardener's' own porfolio and their harvested crop
  • Held a poster competition, which was completed by Year 2

At Hoyle Court Primary, we have:

  • Held a class on how to plant and look after a hanging basket
  • Donated the hanging baskets for the school to use

At Sandal Primary, we have:

  • Held a class on how to plant and look after a hanging basket
  • Donated the hanging baskets for the school to use
  • Held a poster competition, which was completed by RF, RS, 1S, 1H/S, 2B, 2D, 3S, 4E, 5F, 5W and 6L
  • Included the Gardening Club's own syllabus in our portfolio for the judges to see
