The website is under the control of the Baildon Community Council and is administered by a small team of volunteers who work in good faith.
Visitors can contribute to the site but any contribution must comply with, and acknowledge, any copyright.
The administrators will try to ensure the accuracy of information on the site but cannot guarantee the accuracy or correctness of the information.
The administrators cannot accept responsibilty for anything that happens as a result of using the information on the site.
Any content is the responsibilty of the contributor.
The administrators reserve the right to change or remove any content.
The administrators reserve the right to suspend a person's site membership.
The administrators want people to report any errors or inappropriate content to them so that the site is maintained in a suitable manner.
Privacy Policy
The administrators of the site respect your privacy. We will not pass on any information about visitors unless required to by law or actually approved by the visitor. Visitors leave their contact details in publically accessible areas at their discretion. The articles within the main area of the site use scripts to hide email addresses from automated systems. Any contact details received as part of the administration of the site will be treated as private.
Visitors do not have to give any personal information to access the site, unless they want to contribute to the site. To be able to contribute to the site a visitor must become a member. To become a member a valid email address has to be used. This email address is used by the website and will not be used for any purpose other than for the website to contact the visitor. This can involve opt-in emails about a reply to a topic on the discussion board.
The system automatically logs information during the use of the site. The only use of this is to produce usage statistics so that we can improve the site. The logs are deleted frequently and any logs will only be passed on if we are required to do so by law.
Our site contains links to and from other web sites hosted by other organisations. These web sites will automatically record the page and link you used to get to their site.
