This site is provided by the Baildon Community Council to be a resource for the use of Baildon residents.

It is intended that the site should act as a hub for people looking for useful information about life in Baildon.

It will contain information about the various groups in Baildon, details of those who represent us on the Council, links to useful sites, current news items, an events diary, a discussion board for members to swap ideas/raise issues/ask questions etc. and a photo gallery.

This section is over several pages, please use the navigation on the right.

If there are any changes that you would like to see to the web site then please use the Discussion Board. This gives others the option to comment on your request. Please also use the forum to say things about how you found your way around the site. Did you find it useful? What did you actually use it for? In that way it is apparent to other visitors, and to the creators, that the site is actually being used. You can also use the Contact Us section to contact the Web Masater, or other people related to the web site, directly if you want. Your Web Master is human so an occasional "Thanks" will make him feel good and he will carry on working.

The intention is that the site is dynamic; members will be able to submit news items, events for the calendar, send in photos, submit links to other sites and post comments and ideas to the discussion board. Don't feel that the items have to be for everyone; if you are a Baildon resident with a particular interest then let us know. If you spot something that you think others might be interested in - let us know.

For the computer literate visitors - this site is an implementation of the Joomla Content Management System with several add-on modules and components. If you are familiar with this system and know of other components that will make the site more useful then let me know.
