Contact Us - this page presents the user with a categorised list of contact details for the various bodies. The page for an individual might be linked to from other pages.

Legal - there are several things that must be understood about the site, some of which have legal implications. The site is intended to cater for the residents of Baildon and it is understood that a wide range of interests and beliefs will be held by Baildon people. It must be understood that the contributions to the site cannot be taken to represent the views of the site moderators. Any view that is expressed must be in a polite manner otherwise it will be removed at the earliest opportunity. Any contribution that is interpreted as not being suitable for a comminity site may be removed. There are more legal conditions that a visitor should be aware of that can be viewed by clicking on the Legal option at the top of the screen.

About - a page briefly describing the site.

Home - this is one of the few pages that includes the login option and the additional options on the far right of the screen. It is the page that is first presented to a visitor. It also includes quick links to the Latest News and Most Popular News items.

News - this page is designed to give the visitor access to the various News articles on the site.

Blog - this page presents the visitor with the Intro pages for each article on the site. It does not include images from the articles.

Local Democracy - this page gives details of the elected people who represent the people of Baildon - Councillors, MPs and MEPs. So that this site does not have to maintain the details of these people there are links to the official sites for these organisations.

Community Directory - there is a lot under this menu option.

News Feeds - this section includes feeds from a selection of news sites. A news feed is effectively the headlines from a web site. This section contains many feeds from popular news organisations. I have included those for several different topics.

Search - this section allows you to enter a search word or phrase that you think is in an article on the web site. If an article is found that contains that word then its details will be presented on the screen.

FAQs - or Frequently Asked Questions. This section will contain articles about the site itself. I don't think it should contain any site information itself but will contain details of what the site is and how best to use it. In fact you  are reading the FAQ now.

Baildon - this section contains categories for local transport, the media, the area and businesses. These are then further split into

• Radio Stations and Newspapers
• Health, Social Clubs, Sports, Recreation, History and the Countryside
• Post Offices and Banks

Weather prospects - this section presents the weather prospects for the area over a ten day period. This is courtesy of weather.com

Calendar - this section is for displaying the Baildon calendar. Here you will find the date and time of up and coming events. Neighbourhood forum meeting dates will be in here. Once you become a member you will be able to request that an event is added to the calendar. You can call up the events list by clicking on the menu option or by clicking on a day on the small calendar on the right or by clicking on an event in the events list on the right. Calendar events are colour coded.

Photo Gallery - here you will find photos under different categories. Members of the site will be able to submit items that include photos for including in the gallery.

Discussion Board - the discussion board is an important part of the site. It is where people can contribute and discuss items of interest.
