Baildon Mechanics’ Institute Fund This is a charity solely for the benefit of groups and individuals in Baildon. Applications for grants are considered annually, usually in December. This is advertised in the local press. Normally the fund has about £3,000 per annum to distribute. Preference is given to groups before individuals. Awards cannot be made for projects, which would otherwise be paid for by the Council or the Government.
