Darren Miller

Harley-Pilgrimage 'The Road To Shipley' DVD - 2008/11/28 12:57 Local Freelance Film and TV Cameraman Darren Miller GBCT, teamed up this year with Ramon De Juan (Producer) of Captured Vision Associates and some freelance colleagues to produce a broadcast standard presentation about Harley-Davidson owners and enthusiasts.

Filmed during summer 2008 and including the 29th annual Baildon rally, the 45 minute documentary puts the audience at the very heart of the rally and ride-out.

There are interviews with many diverse characters, rare top shots of a sunny Baildon, exciting ride-out footage and some great music which leaves a good taste in your mouth. It really does put Baildon on the map and orders for the DVD are coming from all over Europe already.

Plans are in development to film other rallies and Harley owners with a view to creating a new 'biker series' with a different angle.

Darren's 26 years experience in high profile drama has furnished him with a massive resource of talent and experience to bring this first of many documentaries to our screens. The films voice over is by Roger Greenwood, an ex YTV Calendar reporter who's son also owns a Harley. YTV helped with the colour grading and a local professional music producer has done the dubbing.

'I think we have made an interesting film that can be enjoyed by all ages, whether you are a motorcycle enthusiast or not' says Darren. 'It has a real feel good factor, which I think is quite timely at the moment and I hope people might consider this at Christmas'.

'All the crew have worked for nothing to produce the programme which I hope to have transmitted one day. Our preview at the Rugby Club on November 14th was a huge success and we are staging other shows around the region in the coming weeks'.

The DVD is available at various outlets around the village, at Leeds Harley Davidson on Kirkstall Rd and by accessing the Shipley Harley Clubs website at: http://www.shipley-harley-rally.co.uk
