Jessica morgan	West Lane Planning Application 07/01356/FUL - 2007/03/07 14:27 A planning application has been submitted to Bradford Council on the 20th February 2007 for 74 dwellings and garages on the Baildon Bank Reservoir site on West Lane. I had heard of previous plans for the reservoir site and understood that they had been refused. Obviously this is a new one. Do you have any more details about the type of houses etc? The Baildon Community Council has objected to planning applications after suitable discussion at their meetings. Anyway I will ask around.

I have just heard by email
A pressure group up on West Lane created hell about the development and I know Cllr John Briggs was involved with planning, maybe you can check with him.

Wilson are in the process of being taken over by Barrett - strange that they should put that name against the planning application. There are several people keeping an eye on this. Re:West Lane Planning Application 07/01356/FUL - 2007/04/05 14:29 I have noticed in the minutes for the Feb Baildon Village Forum that it was mentioned by a resident that objections will need to be raised against the proposed housing on West Lane. I still have not been able to contact anybody in the village. As the next forum is not until June, it will be too late to object then as the planning application goes to committee on he 12th April, next week. I am currently trying to find out the recommendation for the planning application and to obtain a copy of the committee report before next thursdays committee.

The details on Bradford website show that the West Lane Action Group wrote a letter of objection. Does anybody have a contact name for this group?
