John Le Page's book is in Baildon Libraray - there are several copies. I have done quite a lot of work on the Walker family history. There were several Holmes/Walker marriages. I have traced my family (which includes Michael) back to John Walker of Crooks Farm. He had 3 sons - John, Thomas and Nicholas, and a daughter, Ann. John, and his son and grandson had Hope Farm. Michael (B 1782)son of Nicholas. He married Ann Laycock and farmed at Baildon Hall. He also had a son Michael, born 1820. Nicholas and his family had the Malt Shovel for many years. There are lots of walker graves in Baildon churchyard, but they do take a bit of untangling as they had a tendency to use the same Christian names. Basically if you come across a John, Thomas, William,Nicholas Jonathan, Ann, hannah or Grace, they are likely to be members of the extended family. I know of at least two other Walker families still in the Baildon, Shipley, Bingleyarea.
