Ingfield - 2007/04/30 14:51 I am trying to find the whereabouts of a house called 'Ingfield' in Lower Baildon certainly about 1916
and the family called Robinson who used to live there, please?
Regards
Val Banks

Re:Ingfield - 2007/05/07 10:18 A Google search for Ingfield Baildon throws up a few references to a row of terraced houses on Kirklands Road.
A PDF Map putting it in a proposed conservation area.

No 4 being sold in 2007.

Re:Ingfield - 2007/05/07 11:15 I know it is totally unrelated to what you are trying to do but my understanding of "ing" in the word Ingfield means marshy/flooded. This would suggest that the houses had been built on the edge of a wet field. An Ingfield would spend part of the winter with pools of water on it.

Re:Ingfield - 2007/05/07 11:33 While you are looking why not have a read of this.

For some reason I cannot search for Ingfield in the final version.
