Belmont Demolition - Recommended approval - 2008/03/18 15:19 Following the release of the recommendations for the Shipley Planning Panel on the 25th March I am sorry to say that the application for the demolition of 1 Belmont has been recommended for approval, against the wishes of 18 residents (including 2 Councillors and 1 MP!).

Re:Belmont Demolition - Recommended approval - 2008/03/25 20:00 Though the planning office recommended the application for approval it has been turned down by the Planning Panel that met today.

If they wish the developers can now appeal or make modifications to the plans and try again.

Belmont Demolition - APPEAL! - 2008/06/05 14:45 An appeal has been submitted against the initial refusal of the demolition of 1 Belmont in Baildon. Anybody wishing to help drum-up support for objecting to this appeal please contact me though this website.

The applicant has appealed by written reps so we will need to submit as many letters of objection to the Planning Inspectorate as possible within a required timescale! I will provide more details on deadlines etc when i receive them.

Help to stop the demolition of Baildons' heritage!
